We all have a human right to identity, commencing the moment we are born but in today's age our digital identities have fast become the very foundation of our existence. Without control over one’s identity, it is easy to become invisible, to be relegated to the role of spectator, unable to participate in society simply because one can’t prove that they are who they say they are.
